The theme for this year’s Men’s Retreat is “Hearts on Fire” as Gilmont plans to bring the heat with delicious BBQ, a bourbon and scotch tasting, some fun free-time activities in the piney woods, dynamic speakers, and authentic discussions focused on how our stories relate to the story of Moses and the burning bush in Exodus 3!
Moses was a man that tried to run away from and forget his past – but when he stops to watch a bush that is burning but isn’t being consumed, God calls him to go back and face who he was, consider who God is calling him to be, and help others in need.
At times, we all find ourselves stuck between where we’ve been and where we are headed, and are uncertain how to navigate getting there.
Join us as we meet our confusion, consider our calling, and deepen our faith as we grow closer to God, creation, others, and ourselves.
The retreat will begin Friday, March 3 with registration beginning at 2:00pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00, followed by opening keynote and fellowship together. The retreat will conclude on Sunday, March 5 following worship and lunch.
